Spring Cocktails
Iv'e teamed up with the awesome guys and girls at Berry Brother's and Rudd to bring you some refreshing spring time No3 Gin concoctions.
Im a massive lover of all things savoury, and my go to drinks on menu's will always be those that steer away from heavy sweet syrups and flavours.
Gin to me means history, it means tradition
and family. This being said, my ultimate gin is No.3 Gin, a London Dry Gin
distilled to a proprietary recipe of Berry Bros. & Rudd, London’s oldest
wine and spirit merchant.
With juniper at
its heart, it unashamedly celebrates the integrity and character of a classic
London Dry Gin: six perfectly balanced botanicals distilled in traditional
copper pot stills.
Its full of
incredible flavours, the cardamom and grapefruit really stand out, with an
awesome juniper backbone. Here’s some springtime cocktails to try it with.
Don’t forget it makes the ultimate Gin Martini too!
Spring Pea and
Watercress Martini
This might
sound like one of those ‘out there’ drinks but its fresh, savoury and balanced
deliciously with the gin.
8 watercress
leaves
A small handful
of peas (frozen or fresh)
50ml No 3 Gin
20ml Lime Juice
10ml Sugar
Syrup
2 slices of
Cucumber
50ml Cloudy
Apple Juice
Add all the
ingredients into a shaker and strain thoroughly into a chilled martini or coupe
glass. Garnish with some watercress or a few peas on a cocktail stick.
Clementine Fizz
100ml Prosecco
20ml No3 Gin
20ml Fresh
Clementine Juice
10ml Agave
Nectar
Add all the
ingredients into a champagne flute, or you can even make a big party punch.
Sage Sling
3 Crushed Sage
Leaves
50ml No 3 Gin
125ml Fever
Tree Elderflower Tonic
10ml Fresh
Lemon juice
1tsp Sugar
Crush the Sage
leaves in your had and add to the glass with the sugar, add the Gin and stir to
dissolve the sugar. Add the lemon juice and top with Elderflower Tonic.
Enjoy! If you make any of these drinks let me know!
